We might feel it as being anxious, or constant tension in our shoulders, jaws or pelvis. Join us for a unique course that blends functional yoga training with trauma-informed practices, designed to help you to understand how stress are stored in your body, to release them and learn to reconnect to your balance, both physically and emotionally. In this course, you will ✔ learn about your own body structure and "emotional anatomy" - how stress shows up in your body ✔ develop a felt sense of your body, to reconnect to yourself ✔ build more stability and balance in your body ✔ practise developmental exercises to reclaim your natural core strength ✔ release stress so that you can enjoy life more! Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Chronic stress can leave the nervous system in survival mode, manifesting as irritability, overthinking, and neglect of personal needs. These stresses often show up physically as tension in the shoulders and neck, breathing difficulties, chronic fatigue, and more. Trauma-sensitive yoga & other body-based practices are introduced to help you restore natural stress regulation and move out of high-stress states. Functional Yoga Based on Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), this training helps you stretch and strengthen in the safest and most effective ways, activating core stability, protecting joints, and establishing good posture. With guidance, you will find your own neutral position and effective strategies to use your strength, tailored to your individual structure. This course is suitable for participants of all levels and ages, especially those looking to regain their equilibrium, both physically and emotionally.
