Foundation Training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY 創傷知情瑜珈基礎培訓課)

Deepen your understanding of the complexities of interpersonal trauma, the impact of complex trauma on the nervous system, and how a trauma-informed yoga practice can support healing and integration.
 
The TCTSY Foundational Training is an introduction to the core concepts and applications of Trauma Sensitive Yoga, designed for yoga teachers, social workers, educators, mental health professionals, and other service providers. This 20-hour training is exclusively led by licensed TCTSY Trainers.

This training is also the primary prerequisite for the 300-hour TCTSY Certification Program. While this foundational training does not qualify participants to facilitate Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga, it provides a strong foundation for incorporating trauma-informed principles into existing practices.

What You Will Learn

The Trauma Sensitive Yoga Foundation Training introduces professionals in yoga, dance, movement, education, bodywork, caregiving, and health services to the foundations, core concepts, and applications of TCTSY, an evidence-based yoga methodology.


Developed at the Trauma Center since 2003, TCTSY is the flagship program of the Center for Trauma & Embodiment at Justice Resource Institute, designed to support adults, children, and youth affected by:

You will gain practical tools to integrate TCTSY principles into teaching, coaching, therapy, and service settings—not limited to yoga. No prerequisites are required to join this training.
